Daily Housekeeping Plan, Shift Handover and Report
The night audit opens the housekeeping day; plan staffing from bookings, hand over each shift in writing and close with a daily housekeeping report.
Your supervisor no longer begins the morning by writing room numbers on paper. The night audit opens the housekeeping day for you with:
- Each room's visit, chosen by rule.
- Planned maintenance jobs due today.
- Hourly public area rounds.
- The staff on today's roster.
Staffing planned from your bookings
The manpower forecast is worked out from the reservation chart. For each coming day it counts checkouts, stay-overs and arrivals, multiplies each visit's credits by the room type multiplier, and divides by one attendant's shift.
Your supervisor knows tomorrow's headcount a day ahead.
Shift handover
Each shift closes with a written note: done, pending, broken, and which guests are still waiting. The outgoing person signs it and the incoming one reads it. Once signed, it cannot be changed.
End-of-day report
- Faults raised and fixed.
- Credits earned by each attendant.
- Inspections passed versus failed.
- Rooms cleaned, with average time taken.
- Requests met on time, and those that ran late.
The dashboard and group comparison both use these same figures.
