Set Up Room Types, Room Numbers and Floors

Room inventory setup for your hotel: room types, real room numbers, floors and bed layouts, all editable after go-live without a support ticket.

You manage your own rooms and room types, both when you open your account and at any time afterwards, with no support ticket needed.

Room type or room?

A room type is what you sell. A room is where the guest sleeps. The setup wizard collects your room types along with the actual room numbers, and you can change either later from your own settings screen.

What each room holds

Room number, floor and type.
Bed setup: king, twin, extra bed or cot.
Amenities, shown on your booking page and confirmations.
Its live housekeeping status.
Where it sits on the floor map, after housekeeping positions it.

What each room type holds

Name and code.
How many guests it takes.
Its position in your upgrade order.
The OTA room it is mapped to in the OTA Channel Manager.

An empty room type is not sellable, and the screen says so.

Good to know

The rooms screen shows what is actually saved. Rename a room, retire a type or add a floor, and the chart shows the change straight away.
