Minimum Stay, CTA and Stop-Sell Rules
Set minimum stay, CTA, stop-sell and closed dates once; they show above your chart and push to every OTA channel.
Set a restriction once and every sales point obeys it, from the desk to the OTAs.
What you can set
Rules tied to dates, such as:
- A two-night minimum.
- No check-ins on a given date.
- One room type off sale on a busy night.
- The whole hotel closed for a day.
Where it is enforced
- At the desk: a quote that breaks a rule is blocked, with the rule named.
- On your booking page: anything you cannot sell is simply not offered, so guests are not turned away at the final step.
- In the CRS: a group hotel's availability is shown against that hotel's own rules.
- On the OTAs: the OTA Channel Manager sends each rule in channel terms: MinLOS, CTA, CTD and stop-sell.
Can the desk open or close inventory?
Yes, if their role allows. Authorised staff can open or close any type or date, and block one room from the chart, giving a reason. Channels hear about it within the minute.
Is overbooking a restriction?
No. An overbooking allowance is how many extra rooms per type you will sell past your count. An OTA booking that arrives for a sold-out type is still accepted and shown as an unassigned card in that type's row; your desk decides.
