Know When Your Channel Sync Has Stopped
Channel push queue alerts show queued, sent and failed updates with error text, so a stalled OTA sync shows up on screen instead of going silent.
The worst channel manager failure is the silent one: you change rates, the OTA never gets them, and you find out when a guest books at an old price. Here, a stalled queue tells you.
What you see
- Queued, sent and failed pushes, per hotel.
- The oldest item still waiting, and for how long.
- For each failed push, the number of retries and the exact error the OTA returned.
- A plain "not moving" warning once the oldest waiting push has outlasted the interval, right on the screen your manager already uses.
What happens automatically
- Failed pushes are tried again at set intervals.
- After repeated failures, a push gives up and stays marked failed with its reason, so the channel is not flooded with repeats.
- A watchdog keeps an eye on the push service itself and warns you if that is what has stopped.
