GST Restaurant Bills With HSN on Every Line
Every outlet issues numbered GST restaurant bills with an HSN code and slab per item, and service charge taxed as the law requires.
Each bill you print is a valid tax document. It shows your outlet GSTIN, a serial number from that outlet's series, each line item with HSN code and GST slab, any service charge you levy, and CGST and SGST separately.
Set tax groups once
Create your GST groups a single time, for instance food, liquor and packaged goods at their own slabs, then place every dish in a group. If a dish's slab changes, move it once and all later bills are correct.
Service charge
Service charge is taxable, so the bill adds your outlet's rate and then applies GST to it. The steward's share appears on the day-end report.
Bill numbers
- Each outlet has its own series, reset per financial year.
- A number is never used twice.
- Reversing a bill leaves its number in place and flags it reversed; the reversal is a separate document.
Your own letterhead
Set your logo, address, GSTIN and footer in the outlet details once, and every bill prints on it.
