Block Rooms and Close Dates Across Every Channel
Block an out-of-order room or close dates for the hotel in a right-click, and your OTA channels update within the same minute.
A failed AC, a floor being repainted, a suite kept aside: each is a block with dates, a reason and the person who set it. The room drops out of sale on the chart, on your booking engine and at every OTA, then returns when the block expires.
From the grid
Right-click a room and choose to book or block. A block asks for a reason and the dates, and records the user's name. It appears on the chart as a shaded band, and in the Housekeeping App the room's history carries the same entry.
Closing dates
You can close a date for the entire property or for one room type, or set a minimum stay or closed-to-arrival. These are the same restrictions your channels already understand, entered once and pushed out.
Why it matters
A blocked room is never counted as available. The chart, your direct booking page, Central Reservations and the OTA Channel Manager all look at one block, so you never sell a room that is under repair.
