A Tape Chart That Shows Rates, Rules and Rooms
See every room, night and booking on one hotel tape chart, with the rate, minimum stay and stop-sell sitting right above the bars.
Your front office sees the entire property on one screen. Rooms down the left, dates across, and each reservation appears as a coloured bar you can read from a few metres away.
The bar shows the guest name and the length of stay. Its colour tells you the source: an OTA, your direct booking page, a corporate account or a walk-in.
What you get
Each night's rate, minimum length of stay and any stop-sell are printed above the room rows. Your team sees the price and the restriction next to the booking, so nobody promises a rate the system will reject moments later.
Under the grid, a shaded line counts the unsold rooms per type for every date. Your reservations manager gets that figure without running a report.
- Move a bar onto a different room or date. If the move needs a confirmation, you are asked once; it is blocked only when the money would come out wrong.
- Right-click any room to book it or take it out of sale. A block asks for the reason and the date range, and stamps the user's name on it.
- A channel booking that lands when its room type is full has no room yet. It waits in its own lane under that type, and you can still drag it into place.
- New OTA bookings appear on the chart in the very request that accepted them. No refresh lag.
Good to know
You cannot drag a stay to a date earlier than the business date, and you cannot shift a night that has already been closed onto another day. Both mistakes would silently damage your books, so each one is stopped with a plain explanation.
