Hotel Payment Links with Razorpay and PhonePe

Send hotel payment links through your own Razorpay or PhonePe account and collect advances before arrival, posted straight to the guest folio.

Collect advances through the provider you already use. You chose a gateway long before a PMS, so you connect your own Razorpay or PhonePe account rather than adopting ours.

How a payment link works

  1. Add a payment request to the booking: an advance, a deposit or the whole stay.
  2. An emailed link goes to the guest, who pays through your gateway.
  3. The payment posts to the folio as a receipt, with method and gateway reference.
  4. The held room turns into a confirmed booking.

What if the guest never pays?

Oristelo re-checks with the payment gateway, recording each check, until the result is confirmed. When the hold's hour runs out unpaid, the room is released for sale. A late or duplicate payment is tied back to the right attempt, so nobody pays twice.

How it shows in your books

Gateways settle net. When the settlement is matched, Hotel Accounting books the difference as the gateway's fee in its control account. Guest paid ₹10,000, bank received ₹9,764: both are explained.

Which providers?

Razorpay and PhonePe today. Each provider is its own module in a registry, so the next one is simply another module.
