Booking Source Tracking for Every Reservation
Track booking source on every reservation — walk-in, phone, direct, corporate, agent or OTA — colour-coded on the chart and used for billing.
Know where your month's business came from, not just its size. Each booking records its source when it is made.
How it works
- Sensible defaults: your page means direct, a channel means that OTA, an attached company means corporate.
- Roles with permission can change it.
Where you see it
- On the chart, bars are coloured by source, so a glance at a week shows the OTAs' share.
- Revenue and production reports split by source, OTA, company or agent.
- The channel report weighs OTA production against commission.
- Hotel CRM uses it to show what each company or agent is worth.
Why it matters
Source decides billing. Corporate stays can be billed to the company. OTA reservations are prepaid or paid at the property, per the OTA. An agent booking carries that agent's commission. Far more than a tag, the source is the first thing your invoice reads.
